Mobile First.
Database Driven.
Plus Everything That Makes It Work.
Mobile Marketing Plus is a consulting-led mobile marketing property built around SMS, database intelligence, direct response, and the reality that no channel works well in isolation. Mobile is the front door. The “Plus” is everything behind it: audience strategy, segmentation, direct mail, data mining, web integration, follow-up, and measurement.
Mobile Marketing Plus is positioned around strategy, managed campaigns, database intelligence, and integrated marketing for organizations that want more than a login and a send button.
The channel changes. The architecture does not.
Fax. Direct mail. SMS. Email. Web. Social. The technology evolves, but the marketing architecture is still recognizable: build the right database, identify the right audience, deliver the right message through the right channel, and measure what happened next.
Mobile Marketing Plus is built around that larger system rather than treating SMS as a standalone novelty.
Your customers already carry the channel in their pockets.
SMS Strategy
Audience selection, timing, cadence, message structure, campaign purpose, response path, and how SMS should fit into the broader customer journey.
Database Segmentation
Use customer history, behavior, value, recency, frequency, geography, and other useful signals to avoid treating every record exactly the same.
Managed Campaigns
For organizations that want experienced campaign architecture and execution rather than another self-service platform to learn and manage internally.
Retention & Reactivation
Build communications around customers who already know the business, including VIPs, active customers, fading customers, and lapsed segments.
Integrated Direct Response
Connect mobile with direct mail, web destinations, database strategy, follow-up, offers, and response measurement.
Campaign Audits
Review targeting, database use, messaging, cadence, channel mix, follow-up, and measurement to identify gaps before simply sending more.
Mobile is one channel inside a much bigger marketing system.
The strongest mobile campaigns are usually powered by something deeper: a useful customer database, good segmentation, a reason to communicate, a clear response path, and the discipline to measure results.

DirectMail.ink
A sister EJS Ventures property focused on direct-mail strategy, campaign architecture, production planning, and execution for organizations that need more than a printer.
Built from decades of direct-response and database marketing.
Mobile before mobile became obvious
Eric Steele was using SMS marketing in direct-marketing programs years before it became a standard small-business channel, including work connected to Firestone and later his own Epic Ultras race business.
From database creation to measurable response
His background spans form and database design, data processing, segmentation, targeting, message delivery, direct response, production, and the final question every campaign should answer: did it work?
BizFax: same architecture, earlier technology.
Before SMS became a mainstream marketing channel, Eric built and operated a fax-broadcast marketing company called BizFax. The company began with repurposed computers and modem-based sending infrastructure, then grew to the point that a regional telephone company provisioned a T1 connection and supporting software for the operation.
The campaigns were database-driven direct response: build the audience, deliver the offer, measure the reaction, and adjust. Some campaigns generated enough immediate response that clients called asking for the promotion to be stopped — after the broadcast had already completed.
BizFax was later sold. The technology changed. The underlying discipline of database-driven direct response did not.
The right question is not “Which channel wins?”
The better question is which combination of channels makes sense for this audience, this offer, this database, and this objective.
Mobile Marketing Plus is built around knowing how SMS can work with direct mail, data mining, web destinations, customer segmentation, follow-up, and broader marketing activity — not around pretending a single channel solves everything.
Got customers, a database, and a mobile opportunity?
If you have meaningful customer volume, a valuable database, or a mobile campaign you want to build intelligently, start with the business problem rather than the software.
